Ramblings on Spliced

Just babbling on here, feel free to ignore (this is more for my edification than anyone else's), but...
I have Good News and Bad News. I even have Neutral news!
I have Good News and Bad News. I even have Neutral news!
The Good: I did work on some Spliced today, and I even decided to outline the rest of the story. And I really did. All of it. All the major stuff is sorted out, and the chain of events. Awesome. For someone who is usually completely disorganized, this is a Big Deal lol.
The Bad: After looking at how much stuff I still have to go, I depressed myself. I'm maybe halfway, if that even. I had no idea Spliced was going to be this long when I started it... Parts 3 and 4 are just really long, or at least how I currently have it outlined, they are. I have to look over it again and see what stuff I could combine/remove. Or maybe some of the chapters I have listed will be short. I'll see. (I wrote an item for each chapter, so my outline is like a list really, but a list of events in order.) I guess that length does give Matt plenty of time to "grow up" though...
The Neutral: I do have several chapters that aren't posted yet (particularly in Part 3) already written. But they do have to be revised or in some cases even rewritten. Not like I can just post them up! But at least that's work that's already done, or a lot of the roadwork laid out.
We'll see what happens. Either way, I am more glad than sad that I sat down and wrote this all out, so I have a clear picture in my head of what's going to happen. I have had that picture for a while--I knew all these events were going to happen--but it's been all disorganized and scattered. However now I finally put it into a cohesive order. I'm happy I was able to do that. At the same time, at least I know no one will be saying goodbye to these characters for a quite a while! :D
