2012 was good for me on other fronts, but definitely not the LJ writing/posting front. I'm sorry I've been so MIA around here. Consequently, posting more often is marked 'High Priority' on my New Year's Resolutions list. I know my story updates were pretty pathetic in 2012, but fingers crossed, they will improve this year. (Not much further they could fall, sadly, so it has to be trending up, right?)

Anyways... yes I am still working on my WIPs. I am optimistically hoping to update Spliced before the end of this month, now that the craziness of the holidays is over. We'll see how that goes; it's a long chapter. I'll give another status report later if things start looking grim there, but I'm hoping that won't be necessary. 

I've had some readers ask me about new Spliced, and I thank you all for your patience. I really do appreciate it.

It's been a crazy summer. How has everyone else's been? Good, I hope! I've done some traveling, some working, some running about, and of course... some writing. 

Looking back at my last such status update, I see I was far too optimistic in my plans for a regular update schedule...

So, I've got a laptop and a loose framework of plot. It's November, and it's NaNoWriMo time again!

But besides announcing that I am beginning Year 4 of National Novel Writing Month, I also wanted to say that while my posting has been less frequent this year, my writing has not. I'm still committed, and continuing my stories, both those WIPs on my LJ and other projects. I may have just um, neglected the editing portion of the writing, something required before posting. What can I say?

I shall try to be better on that front (once NaNo craziness has died down).

I've been meaning to post for a while now; sorry I've been MIA and totally busy lately. Part of the reason is Min related though!

A few months ago this new guy started at work, and I swear when I first heard someone say, "Yeah, Min is starting on Monday," my brain kinda froze for a second. Okay, so it turns out that there was a silent 'h' on the end of the name, and it's a fairly common Vietnamese name, but still! It was hilarious to me.

Anyways, fast forward some, and we were assigned to work on some projects together. Not only was he really cute (sigh) but really funny and nice too. And most secretly comical of all to me, while named Minh, his personality type was so... Matt. He was always really well dressed in these nice suits, and very neat and organized, fairly type A without being overbearing though (more quiet than the usual type A). And he totally had the dark, droll Matt humor.

Sadly he started at a new job closer to home last week, so we no longer work together. Working with him brightened my workday in ways he will never know (haha) so I'll miss him. But it was fun while it lasted.

On the writing front, yes there will be more updates! Scotch today, since I have the next chapter ready that I meant to post last month, but that obviously didn't happen. And Spliced in a week or two, I'd say. Sorry for the waits!
