Yes, I really want to work on this one more too. I think I might do that during my vacation. There's a lot of details I need to work out, because I really have great aspirations for this story and I want it to live up to them. But as is so often the case when you have intrigue or mystery storylines involved, you need to know where you're going so you can plant the seeds along the way.
I'm glad you're intrigued by the mystery already. *grin* And oh yes, she is definitely an assertive Mistress. She's the Queen after all! Kurth won't have an easy time of it, poor man. I'll confess I've actually read this chapter a couple of times for fun, because I really enjoyed the interactions between them (and it inspired me to think of future scenes with them).
