Yeah, I have followed WIPs too and seen great ones fall by the wayside because the author got too busy or lost interest, etc. It's a shame, but it doesn't make me sorry I read the story at all. Some people avoid WIPs altogether because they've been burned too many times, but I'm fine with them. Plus it's nice to open up your friends page or get that notification that one of your favorite WIPs has been updated. :-)
I think once I finish one of my other ongoing WIPs, I'll have enough space on my plate to devote more attention to this story. I just didn't want to rush it and have it come out less than I feel it has the potential to be.
I appreciate you taking the time to comment. There's no pressure to do that either, so I'm always happy to see them.
