I know, I know, I'm sorry if I sounded narrowminded... in RL I'm very much for disregarding gender etc and only caring about the person and I know the pairing of a story has nothing to do with the quality of the writing. I started out reading het, then read both het and slash for a while before going entirely slash. Guess that wouldn't have happened if I was only reading fic to find a good story. Truth is, I choose fic because I can find stuff that tickles my kinks (though obviously 'good' is still the first requirement). I do find it interesting why slash is such a big thing for many women, and I wonder what Freud would have made of it all, the crazyhead, but I don't wanna kill the fun by analyzing, either... ;)
Anyway, I just wanted to explain in case that first comment seemed lacking in respect.
PS, I pity Yorkfield's future victim then, if he's gonna carry on...
