Yeah, as fanfic authors have been exploring for years, it's fun to tweak the characters or the world they inhabit and see how that changes things, or what new sides to them you discover.
I'm glad you felt there was a good balance here. I really just wrote this for fun, not sure if I was ever going to post it, but I liked how it turned out.
