I've always loved this chapter of Min corrupting poor Nuit :-D
About them discussing their ages. I should have thought about that when I commented before, that they are, sort of, born as adults. So Alex is appearing to be in his twenties, but are really ten plus some odd years. Still sad to think his life is shorter than "real" humans, but, I'll read on and see what I have missed regarding that.
