Yes, Matt has a point that there's a risk. However, the attitude he displays in laying down the law here... that doesn't sit so well.
True, Alex could have explained himself better, but it's a two way street. Matt could have also been more open to hearing him out. They both have communication problems!
Well, I'm actually glad to read your comments on Matt. That is what I was going for--this conflict that while he's changed in some ways, in others he hasn't. And he's not entirely in the wrong, because he is acting out of concern, but the way he expresses himself is bad. They should both know each other well enough by now to see what approaches don't work.
