Seriously, for someone who was completely fucking overpowered and kidnapped by Alex not that long ago, Matt is amazingly arrogant about his ability to control Alex when that no longer suits Alex's purposes. I do see how Alex's behavior can make things worse, but it's hard to know how else he could respond. It's like one of them just has to break, or something, before they can really move forward. A very fraught situation.
It's frustrating for me, I think, because in my experience people actually are capable of complete paradigm shifts in their world views, and they can happen pretty suddenly. I guess they can chip away slowly, too, though, and Matt is your character so you'd be the authority on what he's capable of! :-)
Sadie, however, is just pissing me off...
Anyway, this was interesting and kind of fun, and I'm happy to see it and look forward to more!
