November was a hectic month, and December isn't going to be any better, unfortunately. But I'm going on vacation twice! The first trip starts Thursday; I'll be heading to Switzerland/France for a few days. And then later is the holidays and visiting family.

On the writing front, the first half of November I was full of ideas for Spliced - the boys wouldn't shut up honestly - and now that NaNo is over, they've gone all quiet. Sigh, typical.

I started Part 4 but only got a few hundred words in before puttering to a halt. It's not that I don't know what happens, it's just some of the details I have to work out, but I wasn't feeling it and had to stop. Usually writing the boys comes so easy, but it wasn't today and I didn't like it. Bah, I'll just go ahead and blame Matt, because... he's Matt. *grin* And I was writing his POV anyway. :P

I know what I need to do. I need to reread some chapters from Part 3 to get me back in their headspace - particularly where they are right now. But somehow I found myself rereading what I have so far of "A Scotch for the Road" today, and the next 2 parts of THAT just flowed easily through my head. Gah. Wrong story, Kelly. No, I've been too set on continuing Spliced to get distracted now. Sorry, Brett, poor neglected boy.

The plan is to reread Part 3 some and write more of the next chapter tomorrow at work. Here's hoping! G'night.

As much as I adore Spliced, I think you should let Brett talk as well, he had enough time to think over what his misstress told him:)

Matt and Min shut up? What happened you drugged them or something;)? I'll bet they just moved on to that one activity where talking is not so much required, let them do what they want and just watch and tell us all the sweet details later;)

How can you write at work? For me it's a pain to read what you post at work, I can't imagine writing it!

Haha, they'd need as big a dosage as an elephant to get them knocked out. They are very... rambunctious. *grin* I like your theory, I think that IS what they snuck off to do... mean boys sneaking off without telling me. I want to watch! :3 *runs off to find them*

I'm between projects right now so I have quite a bit of free time at work these days, thankfully. Plenty of time to get some writing done! (And to respond to your lovely msg, which I will soon.)

Hmm, that last comment about work is tempting me to post the next chapter someday while you're working. *evil grin* Yeah, I'm bad. >:D But it would still be an update!

As for knocking themselves out, from what I gathered Min might be missing Hamlin and Matt might just pass out from the shock of catching Min drinking again:)
As for them sneaking out, you let them behave like that?!?I'm deeply shocked, I thought you were a responsible owner, I mean writer. You should embed each with some usefull device so you could track them and always know where they are and especially what they are doing*evil grin* It's totally unresponsible to let them go around like that!What if someone stole them, or they got lost,or had an accident, or lost their memory ?*definitely is not a pesimist*

Now that I got into talking about technical possibilities, what a pity we can't have videos attached to the chapters *is dreaming*

As for posting when I'm at work, what else could I expect from an evil writer like you:)I just got my working hours reduced to half, and you want me even more fired! I know your evil plan, me loosing the job=me having a lot of time to comment back on each and every one of your entries;)
But I also have a plan, where you're starting to be late with responding to my comments:)
Anyway, an update is an update whether I'll be squirming and blushing at work or not:)

Lol, I think the Hamlin will be carefully locked away from now on, but who says a simple lock will keep Alex/Min out? *grin*

And that's a very good idea, tracking devices!! Can't have anyone stealing my boys away! >:( They're MINE! *herds them back into their cage... complete with bed of course!*

Oh no, reduced to half hours? The good part is you won't be so overworked now and be able to rest more, but less money is definitely not good. :( And okay yes, more time to post comments is also a good side effect. XD But the money beats the others when it comes to necessity. :S Sorry to hear about that.

And lol, I actually am behind on responding to you, so you already started on that plan! XD *hurries to catch up so she can continue writing the next chapter* And yes, updates are updates, no matter the timing! :D

Actually I wonder how much Min and Alex will become one in next months with Matt. Min (I'll use this name as somehow a like it a little bit better, and it was the first name you called him and I got acustomed)isn't exactly at peace with himself yet and still he needs his andorian needs to be fulfilled, so I guess the process is still in progress...
But my, the first moments of them together are going to be hard for both. Poor Matt he's gonna faint when he sees Min cut his hair!I feel the need to whip Min for that myslef, so what is going to do our overly possesive Muldane. I sense a lot of interesting things coming up:)
Also how funny is that they both kind of cheat on the contract, Min isn't planning on becoming perfect little slave and Matt is planning on keeping him (how the hell he thinks he's gonna achive that I got no idea, I don;t think he would be all that happy himslef if he had Min chained to something strong 24/7, but knowing how fricking stubborn he is I don't cross out that option completely)

As for the attached videos there's probably only one good thing about the fact that they don't exist, I don't think actually watching porn at work would go that much unnoticed as reading it;)
Reduced hours=me having more time to look for something better not to mention more time for reading and commenting:)but why do I always have to have job related problems around christmas time, there are some other months in the year as well*shakes fist at job gods*

As for now I started rereading Spliced from the very begining, Min is corrupting Nuit right now (but I have to tell you, I do have a soft spot for the very first chapters and their first cuddlings and first sex, I forgot how Min was eager and affected by Matt already, guess that'll keep me well prepared now for what's definitely coming up:)Not that I'm pushing you to write anything*whistles innocently*just saying...

Yeah Alex/Min definitely still has issues to work out--both within himself and with Matt. Lol, yes I'm a bit upset about the hair too, but I think it was necessary. Besides, it will grow back! XD But yeah, Matt will be the most upset of all about that. :S His reaction will not be pretty lol.

Haha yes they are both cheaters. How much they cheat - whether it's Alex/Min rebelling or Matt keeping him captive - will be revealed in Part 4 of course. *keeps quiet* >:D

And Matt is thinking that he'll have 6 months to convince Min to stay, so hopefully he won't have to be tying him down to make him stay by then. But he does realize that chances aren't good that he could force him to stay against his will, especially since he knows Min could have assistance from his friend that helped him before. But you're right, if he thought it would work and even though he wouldn't be happy about it, he would chain Min up if he had to. He's just that desperate to keep him. XD Oh poor deluded Matt.

Yes, videos would be way harder to hide at work than simple text. :S And yeah I'm sorry, Christmas is always a terrible time to have job problems. :( But like you said, hopefully the reduced hours will help you find a better job. And when you get depressed you can comfort yourself with LJ smut or other porn. XD

Started rereading Spliced eh! And not leaving comments for each chapter? For shame! KIDDING. Hehe. I'm happy enough you like it enough to read it again! :) Aww the boys' first time together... *tear* They are cute, even though there isn't much teasing in Part 1. I like the teasing banter too much. :S (Well the flashback early in Part 3 had some Matt/Min banter hehe.)

As for writing more... 1600+ words of Part 4, Chapter 1 (4.1) and counting! I'll hit at least 2,000 tonight. :) So it's coming along!

For the sake of the plot it was necessary but I think I might starting to beat Matt as to who is more pissed off about it. No idea where I am getting that from...I just loved his hait from the begining *remembers Min brushing his hair in the bathroom after taking shower the day Matt bought him and he was still so polite there...* can you tell I like that scene:)?

And now I have this imagery of how Matt is convincing Min to stay: 'You'll stay or I'll whip your stupid ass you stupid clone if you don't';)*says Matt still tied to bed by Min* And if he has any problem convincing him he should just take him to Karta where rules regarding slaves are much stricter which means less possibilities for Min to come up with anything assistance or not, especially if he decided to go there on the spot without any preparations, you know, just to wait those 6 months of rebel;) Am I desperate to make them stay together much, how d'ya think;)?

Oh, believe me I do comfort myslef with porn, ahem, a lot*grins shamelessly* and lj is my constatnt source of consolation whenever I need one, and if not looking for a consolation then still great source of *plesure*

I had to start rereading, the boys were separated too long!And there will be one day I'll hopefully leave some comments for those first chapters as well, now I can;t make myslef stop reading:)

Lol, Min's hair. Yes, I can tell you liked that scene hehe.

You know this is actually the 2nd time Alex has cut it. It had grown out longer after 6 months with Matt, and Alex cut Min's long, pretty hair back to shoulder length. But honestly I didn't mind that, because as much as I love Min's hair in Part 1, I also like Alex's ponytail. I think its cute. XD And if it's long enough to put in a tail, it's still good in my book. XD But this latest cut well... yeah I am not a fan but I'll keep telling myself it'll grow back! *smacks Alex* Had to be dramatic eh Alex? Bad boy!

Heh, you know that wouldn't be a bad idea, for Matt to take him to Karta. He certainly would have trouble getting away from there! XD

Lol, good to hear that you have LJ to comfort you when feeling bad. And I think we all agree that there is much fun to be had from LJ stories. :D

You made it to December with no updates for a few weeks, but couldn't last any longer? Hehe. Well I can't blame you, I would be eager for more stuff with the boys myself. Good thing I'm writing it and can play with them anytime! :D And no worries, enjoy your reading. :)

I stayed a little late at work today, just because I was so distracted writing 4.1! It's at over 2.6K words now. :) So progress is definitely being made. We'll see how the rest of it goes. XD

Thanks that helped! :D Perhaps all I needed was some inspiration. *grin* I got some more writing done yesterday. ;)

And that was despite my wretched day. It was almost epically bad. Why? I was driving to work yesterday morning, and I was stopped at a red light when this jerk in a plumbing van rear ended me. Smashed up my back bumper pretty bad, as well as my trunk. I was so mad; I mean how do you careen into someone who's stopped at a red light? Talk about dumb, and blind. How could he not see the light was red? Sigh.

It was just this wonderful "Happy Monday! Hello Car Accident!" event. What a way to start the day--and the week.

So yummy pictures helped soothe me after I got home later. XD
