Been away from home for a few days attending a training class, but despite varying distractions I have made progress on Spliced 4.4. In fact, it's done. Yay for that!

Today's Word Count: 2,000 exactly. (How nifty is that?)

Now done doesn't mean post-able yet... I have to go over it, and Matt in particular is giving me trouble (what a surprise). And I know there are some changes I need to make still; I just need to do them. But hopefully by sometime this weekend I'll have something to post, if not sooner.

Okay I am overtired and in need of sleep. My goal was to finish the chapter, and I definitely did that. So good night all and sweet dreams! May they be... flighty. ;-)

I got home yesterday from work intending to work on some fanfics of my own but instead ended up clicking onto 'Spliced' and working through the rest of part two and onto part three. This story is like a book I can't put down, I sat for at least and hour or two just reading on and on and on...still got lots of reading to do on it, (no time at the present-meh!) but I'm loving it, I love the depth and where it's all heading and being intrigued by all the characters.

Worrying for Min, hoping Matt will get a clue, falling in love with Hollis & Nuit (sp?!!)...argh okay, must go because srsly, I have work to do and if I gush any more about this story I'll end up starting to read again!

Lol, I'm glad to provide a welcome (if inconvenient) distraction! I certainly get distracted by plenty of 'evil' things as well, so I know the feeling.

Aww thanks for the compliment - I'm happily surprised that it's a story that can suck people in, unable to stop reading. (For this story I usually don't follow that general rule of novel writing: always end a chapter with a thruster of some kind to keep people reading. Instead I seem to more often write complete scenes.)

Glad you're enjoying it and the characters! (I share your sentiments on the 4 chars you mentioned, hehe. *smacks Matt* ) Hope you have some free time soon to get some more reading in. ;-) Thanks for gushing, I appreciate it! :D
